I hope this setup didnt just pay off for the photo. If I went through all that work I'd try to convince my girl that it was just for her, and then Id submit it to DPC and hope she doesnt have an account. My complaint would be that it seems a bit oversharpened.

The purpose of a good foods shot is to make the subject look delicious.. this closeup achieves that goal. The lighting is perfect and the general technical quality is superb. Mmmmm... looks good! Though not necessarily in razor sharp focus I'd prefer to see the foreground muffin be in a little sharper focus than it is, but that might not bother most voters.
