Joe Buck Yourselfby aaronwaveComment by amateurboi: one humble advice.. please avoid using your in-camera forced flash unless until you are looking for a snapshot alone. your performer looks a bit scary with those red eyes (when shooting people in low light conditions, use a fill flash or atleast use red eye reduction). |

Joe Buck Yourselfby aaronwaveComment by boyd2000: The first one in my random display of photos. I'm glad people didn't stick with the Forums idea that solo meant only one object in the picture, and can be interpreted in any way. Here it's a solo performer. Good capture of the performer's intensity. The camera flash is very harsh on subject, background and shadows. Very cluttered picture, but that's an indication of the layout of the venue, which has lots of character. |

Belly Balanceby aaronwaveComment by sfalice: Greetings from the Critique Club
Great find for the Symmetry Challenge.
I very much like your ocmposition with the two girls dancing nicely in front of the stone wall. I do wish you had been lucky enough to get the feet of the dancers. that might have cost you some votes...
technically, if it was mine, I'd try for some darker darks along with the good grays and near whites you have here. I think it would make the image 'pop' a bit more.
In any event, you found a good example of symmetry and presented it nicely. |
