Tea, anyone?by BlimComment by EstimatedEyes: I really like this one ... great composition, nicely exposed for both the tea pot and the tea and leaves, and focus is sharp where it needs to be and soft where it doesn't. Hope this one is in the running for a ribbon. |

Tea, anyone?by BlimComment by pottersclay75: Reminds me of the tea I used to get at a Chinese restaurant I once lived near. It looks like you have two different light temperatures working here. Possibly an overhead light and light from a window? |

Tea, anyone?by BlimComment by alreadythere: composition is nice, but there's some problem with the lighting. looks like it's lit from a window on the left and a room light behind the camera, which gives different color temperatures, and which flatten out the depth in the image. |

Complexionby BlimComment by dragonlady: best in contest as far as I'm concerned...the eye is what gets you when you look at this picture: the texture is somewhat unusual until you see the eye, then the whole picture is alive and elevated to art. nice subtle contrast in skin, lighting is perfect as is composition and crop...10 |
