I don't get passing time in this picture. Plus, the blurred image doesn't really grab me. In the future, try to avoid patching the photo into the competition, by naming it as something to pull the viewer in a direction. The picture should say passing time without a title.

Brad, its time to quit your day job! Buy that camera you really want, and go for it. I hope you distribute your photography, or at least show your work in galleries. I'm new to this whole digital photography thing, but my girlfriend is a highly recognized and accomplished photographer in Philly. I regularly go to the art galleries, and I see the work that people are doing in a city that is well regarded for being cultured and artistically educated. Your work blows them all away. Seriously, by leaps and bounds. I mean it in a factual way, and not just as my opinion. Excellent photo, and congratulations on another ribbon!

Now, if you had this dog, dressed up with maybe a white or black background instead of outside where the street is distracting and the lighting is harsh, this would be a 10. Great idea though.

I dig the subject, but the lighting on the towel really throws it off for me. Maybe if you did the same shot with a black background, with or without candelight or something. The lighting is harsh.
