The Quiet Old Timesby -MK-Comment by Veiolets: I like the effect. However, I feel like the photo leans to the left. I can see that the far chimney lines up vertically but the average vertical line leans to the left. In this case, I would probably try different slight rotations until the photo "feels" right. The photo would work better for me if there was some area of higher focus, but I guess that is the challenge of soft focus. |

SnowEyesby -MK-Comment by kimbelloni: Nice color. Composition might be easier to grasp with the other eye in the picture also. |

SnowEyesby -MK-Comment by cpanaioti: Though the eye is sharp I feel this image would work better as a proper pet portrait using the same composition. (Deeper DOF) |

SnowEyesby -MK-Comment by jblaylockrayner: You nailed it - Great challenge entry - Tells a lot about the situation and subject. If there is one nit pick it's the bright white mark in the lower left corner. Still a 10 from me - Nice. |

SnowEyesby -MK-Comment by Haneck: My eye wants to wander off towards the blue void. Maybe if I could see more of the dog's eye, or perhaps the composition was changed a bit... Excellent DOF though, and an interesting shot. |
