To be honest, this isn't a great shot in my opinion. This is for a few reasons: fussy background, slightly soft, strange lighting and major cliche. Of course, the last point is a matter of taste, but still doesn't do it for me I'm afraid. Sorry!
Did you know a train  has a bridge part  in many places?

Great negative space. I would only say that it is slightly hard to identify them as puppets. If the puppets were clearer, it would also be easier to see that the bottom right is part of the set, as it's slightly hard to see what it is.

Having said that, I'm quite keen on photos where the viewer has to make an effort to look carefully to interpret what is going on. Perhaps not as striking as blatantly obvious photos, but usually more interesting.
