Harvest Timeby BrianRComment: Commenting as part of my Team Suck duties...
I reckon this subject had some wonderful potential. A tighter crop (remove much of the right) and a little tweaking of the HDR to reduce the blacks and halo in the clouds and this would have faired much better. I think this image as it is suffered b/c it fell between the pigeon holes of landscape and mechanical, and also b/c it feels a little over processed. I do like the subject, the details and the colours in the shot... I'd love to see some outtakes or this one reprocessed, as I think you could get a top 10 from it. |

Yarras Edge by millsaComment: Finished over 6! Well done... deserved a 6 at the very minimum. Keeping your percentage of 6+ finished up there :) |

New and Old Architectureby ronaldfwComment: Excellent example of HDR, though the clouds have a little bit of the over processed feel and there's a hint of haloing on the wall to the left of the stairwell... a product of the software I take it... but it doesn't really take away from the clarity and great colour of this image... well done... a top 10 image IMHO. |

Windby colorcarnivalComment: Great image. Composition is fantastic, the sky's colour is superb... the corn and grass just lack something... perfect otherwise. Initially a 7 which I later bumped to 8... don't be surprised if I bump it to a 9 by weeks end. |

I go on forever.... by sekarmalathyComment: A definite contender for a ribbon. I bumped this up from an 8 which O gave during my voting phase, to a 9. Image is sharp and composition is great... colour and contrast is just an iota flat IMO. That said, this is a brilliant photo... well done. |

Lake Fog at Sunrise by hahn23Comment: This has BLUE Ribbon written all over it. If this doesn't win I'll... I'll... I'll do something crazy... but I'm not going to put too much effort into thinking what because it'll be a waste of time because this is a certainty for the blue. I can't fault it at all... it's sharp, it's interesting, the colours are beautiful, the composition is brilliant... I'm running out of superlatives... so, I guess I should bump the 9 I gave it during my voting phase to a 10! I never give 10s... well almost never, and I'm giving this a 10... and I guess it'd make sense to favourite this too. OUTSTANDING!! LOVE IT!!! |

A Storyby heidaComment: I'm glad you made the top 10 of this challenge... anything less would have been criminal.
This was one of my favourites in the challenge... thought it was worthy of a ribbon or an HM at least... but I guess one can never predict what the DPC voters will do from one challenge to the next. Well done, and it's great to see you here again. |
