Beautiful architecture art. The contrasts and details are superb, and the composition is fantastic.

A beautiful image, that would not be out of place on a gallery wall, or on an album cover.

Another excellent example of the art of balance, or contrast. This is a beautiful image that give so much to the viewer willing to stop and contemplate the juxtapositions presented. Great entry.

This is an excellent entry for the Art of 2014 challenge. It has a nixter feel to it, and I rate nixter is one of the most artistic photographers to ever grace the halls of DPC. I love the composition: on the right the shadowy partial figure in the foreground and the large, shadowy tail of the plane; perfectly balanced by the finer detail and colour of the image on the left... beautifully framed into a polyptic by the window structure. Add to that, the effects of the sun, reflecting off the paint on the tarmac and highlighting the rain and/or dirt on the glass... wonderful stuff.

WoW! This is an amazing image. Taken the "traditional" beauty of the Ansel Adams forest type image, and made it so much more. The movement makes it dynamic... alive. The title adds another dimension, make me go back and notice what was only felt on first viewing. It's deep and beautiful.

Has an Ansel Adams feel to it. Nice composition and processing. There's an eerie, haunting feeling to the image... the spikes created by broken branches adds a hint of horror. Lots of feeling/emotion generated when one stops to take in the image fully... something that the 30 second voters will miss completely, I feel.

This a wonderful work of art. The image is balanced so well, but physically and metaphorically. Left and right, top and bottom, detail and blurred, light and dark, old and young, colour and tones, matte and gloss... it's an outstanding example of art.

This is a wonderful work of aft. The composition is perfectly balanced. The details, almost hidden, but there for those that take the time to look closely. I'm intrigued by this place... I want to visit, but at the same time, there's a mystery to it which makes me wonder if it's safe. You've made me think... and that's what art should do. Well done.

This is a wonderful image. I love it. The balance, the detail, the colour... AMAZING. The goat on the left appears to be real, at the same time looking like art on the wall behind. The old man, whose face is as worn as the stone he sits on. This clothes and possessions adding to the mystery of the story told by the scene. I want to meet this man. I want to visit this place. I want to know what he has in the bundle on his lap, and in his bag. THIS is art!!! I would HAPPILY hang this on a wall. Thank you for making my life better by sharing this image with me.

Now THIS is my type of art. I can EASILY see this hanging on a wall in my office or at home. Composition and processing is perfect - I love the clarity, the light reflections on the wings, the deformation in the upper-wing skin and the horizontal tail alluding the ribs and spars below that allow this beautiful creature to take flight. What once was a tool for war, death and destruction, is now just a thing of beauty and awe - as we appreciate the ingenuity of the men and women that created these birds, and the brave souls that used them in the service of their nation.
