15th Century, Framwellgate Bridge at nightby fredandaudComment by Imagineer: Not a bad viewpoint or subject but the image lacks clarity and it does look like it's been sharpened to compensate for missing definition. It's a shame because this does look like a lovely scene and you've composed it well.
If I were you I'd use a tripod, try to get closer to the water (without dying trying). Then focus on the lightest part of the scene and expose for around 8-15 secs. Ideally use a Neutral Density filter which will even out tones somewhat and reduce 'hot spots' fropm lights. This will also give you some super smooth water effects as the long exposure records all the movement as one. |

Leavingby fredandaudComment by Tomcam: Your eye is a poet here!
The pain, wonder, loneliness, and desolate liberation of 'separation' all caught in concerts of yellow/green/darkness...always wrapped in a 'glimmer of destiny...hope'....translated into apartness. Thanks!!! |

Midnight Expressby fredandaudComment by Rossko: Excellent interpretation of the theme, a little more space in front of the Engine would give more af a feeling of movement.
A slight crop at the right hand side would position the subject better wihin the frame.
I love the very slight Blue Tone. Very well Done. |

Midnight Expressby fredandaudComment by Artan: wow a giant leggo set.
this is dark and moody, itss a shame however that the sharpening has caused the halo around the edges. |
