Comment by Kathy:
Very telling photograph - the weighing up the events of that decade. I might have turned the picture within toward the left and had it stand up straighter. It is, afterall, your treasure of the 70's - it needs more emphasis.

Though I'm stretching to get the connection with the challenge, I have scored you well for the effect that you have captured in this shot. I like it alot regardless. Good luck!

Comment by Imagineer:
Not a bad viewpoint or subject but the image lacks clarity and it does look like it's been sharpened to compensate for missing definition. It's a shame because this does look like a lovely scene and you've composed it well.

If I were you I'd use a tripod, try to get closer to the water (without dying trying). Then focus on the lightest part of the scene and expose for around 8-15 secs. Ideally use a Neutral Density filter which will even out tones somewhat and reduce 'hot spots' fropm lights. This will also give you some super smooth water effects as the long exposure records all the movement as one.

Your eye is a poet here!
The pain, wonder, loneliness, and desolate liberation of 'separation' all caught in concerts of yellow/green/darkness...always wrapped in a 'glimmer of destiny...hope'....translated into apartness. Thanks!!!
