An Eye on London (Brown Duotone)by KaveyComment by SJCarter: A very unique and interesting perspective. It's kind of odd being "behind" most of the subject in this shot, but it provides a truly different view. I'm not sure the brown tones actually add to this one though - I think I'd like to see it in color. Regardless, it's still very nice work. |

San Marco Gondolieriby KaveyComment by Jutilda: Love the rows of boats. Although the gondola is supposed to be the main focus, it gets lost behind the others. I'd love it either by itself, or have it out of the shot and have the rows of boats as the central focus. The buildings in the background appear a bit blanched out. Perhaps it's mid day??? |

I have been to this exact spot in venice, but you made it very unique in the timing and silhouetting of the passing gondaliers. This looks like a vintage Cartier-Bresson or someone of that caliber.
