Sunset, Moonriseby elsapoComment: Liking that dark line of shadow that really makes the edge of that hill stand out so well. Also the positioning of hte moon in that little dip shape works well. And of course, the light of the setting sun whilst the sky is still blue. |

lifes good...by nixterComment: A great image, the large areas of shadow and the black suit are a great foil to the sunlit face and hand. Not a particularly strong link to the theme, for me. |

Death Gives Life by vawendyComment: Great capture, beautiful detail, great composition, clean background... in many ways a perfect capture ... and yet it doesn't thrill me in the way some bird photography does. Perhaps it's that black background, maybe there's part of me that feels more lifted when I see a more natural environmental backdrop that places the bird in context? I'm not sure. On the other hand, it's an image I'd be pleased as punch with, had I taken it myself! |

Hopperby DrAchooComment: Lovely image. Liking the sharpness of detail in both the grasshopper and the hairs on the leaf against the softness of the blurred areas. The diagonal line of the leaf is great too. |

spookykidby posthumousComment: Great image, loving the high contrast black and white, the texture and details in the wall, step and door and of course, the little goat! |
