That would be my outtake. :) My originals started with more pier but I liked the wave action on this one best. I totally missed the clump on the left though. The beach was very busy so it was hard to shoot without people.

It's an ultra wide angle lens so it has a bit of bend. I did use line straightening on it to try and ensure the most level horizon.

AS far as I am concerned, this is the only image meeting the challenge topic of using high dynamic range techniques. You have great control of highlights and beautiful details in the shadows. Nothing is blocked up, like the top 5 images. Should have finished much higher.
