I really like the choice of background color - and the lighting is great. I'm not too enthusiastic about the blur above the bulb though - I guess it's meant to convey motion, but it just doesn't work for me, and seems out of place.

I think this one works well, one of the better broken bulb entries. Good use of long shutter. Nicely exposed. The motion blur adds a lot of interest to this shot.

Okay, another dog photo, for which I am a hopeless sucker. I also have a golden retriever. Beautiful dogs. I think the dog alone would carry the shot. The fire hydrant distracts from your true focal point, the stunning golden. I am a rebel in that I vote dog shots high to counteract the impact of those who just give them a 1 out of some sort of innate, dog-hate. What an unhappy, sorry group of people ;-)
