Comment by Kimbly:
I really like the tilt. It reminds me of lurching around as the train is moving...

Comment by Ricky Cleave:
I love the title for this picture it sets a mood that makes you feel like you the photographer were once on this train in its glory days. the tilt is excellent. good job.

Comment by drewmedia:
Very nice shot. The angle really gives us that broken-down feeling.

Comment by Kavey:
Cropping to pull back to vertical would improve this, and losing some of the dark door frame at left and right.

Something old. Use your photographic technique to emphasize the age of your subject.
Composition - quite good
Technical Aspects - quite good, did you try a small rotation to level it?
Meets Challenge - yes
Visual Impact / Originality - high

Really dig the whole shot - the flat colors, the patterns of the windows against the doorways.
Very powerful shot.

I just love this photo... it's a SHAME SHAME SHAME it's not level... and the framing with the doorway there is a bit unattractive. It could also use a bit more contrast... otherwise, this would be a perfect TEN. Still, I find myself coming back again and again to this photo. Well done. --9-- sohr

Comment by RedRuthann:
Great shot. OK, I have to ask - did you tilt the camera or is the train tilted? I like that effect. Wonder if you could crop it just a little more to leave just a little of the doorway sides visible, but may not have same effect or image size.
This image is thought provoking. What went on there?...Who was there? I get the sense that maybe some event occured. Has a sense of mystic. Good work. 8

Comment by jmsetzler:
this is definitely an interesting subject for 'old'... the camera tilt is bothering me just a bit... in a case like this, I think that either perfectly vertical would work or a much more drastic tilt... - jmsetzler

Comment by owennnn:
seems overexposed to me. Do you have an exposure compensation on your camera? The bulls-eyed, eye-level shot down the corridor is un-interesting. it is not immediately clear what the picture is of, or whether the title helps at all.
