Good idea, quite well executed. Slightly more contained smoke would have helped, but I'm sure it's hard to get the smoke to behave.

Interesting shot with nice star effects. I think a slight rotate would have helped, to make the foreground lines appear straight (even if it's truer perspective this way). Also I'm not sure why the "distant" view is used here. I think the left and bottom could have bbeen cropped bringing him a bit closer, but I'm not sure if that affects your message, because I don't quite understand the photo.

I't realy a centered composition. I think it could be more interesting with something else going on in the shot.
