Comment by Tygerr:
The overhead angle and direct lighting makes it seem a bit too much like a snapshot. The choice of veggies was good though - good blend of colour line and shape.

You should have diffused the flash light or let it bounce off something. The direct flash is very harsh.

Image feels a bit plain. The vegetables are very cramped in the frame and the light seems a bit harsh. Perhaps if there was simply more vegetables and more drops of moisture on them. Nice rich colors though.

great colours here, it's a little flat though, maybe a different angle would help

crop is too close, lighting is too flat. had placed the knife at right side (there's more right-handed people in the world)

The knife makes it a cooking photo but it's not very exciting.

Good idea and colours, the flash looks too hard to me. try bouncing it off the ceiling or wall

Comment by KiwiShotz:
The contrasts of the dark day and sunlight are really attractive. The foreground sand matching the highlight on the end of the mole really catches the eye. Nice work. Only criticism is that there's something a bit off in the composition. It's not sitting right in the frame and probably loosing a lot of impact as a result
