This should have scored much higher. It was quite different from most images submitted, nice soft light, and a meaningful title :) You're quite creative. Told ya, i would be keeping an eye on your (interesting) submissions. So, when you're not shooting, you're playing the voyeur, huh? :)

Indeed i like the focus, and the dof, on this one. Love the stark simplicity of the shot - that does a lot more to me than those elaborately put together compositions of exquisite glass. 8 After finishing my tweaking, bumped this to a 9. It's my favorite as i always appreciate when a lot can be conveyed with the greatest economy of means, i.e. props.

You drunken b@stard! If you had shot this when sober, then everything could have been in sharp focus! Just joking. Really fun and creative shot. Did you take this in the sink/tub with the little handheld shower squirting water in at the other (not shown) end of the glass to make it overflow and create the bubbles? Creative use of color adjustments. 8

Bad Ass Glass

Like this because of its painterly qualities. The use of perfect lighting contributed a lot, imho, to achieve that painterly result. The interesting background, is that more glass? Emphasis of the blue tone, supplemented with the red, works very well. Good composition. 8

Magnifying Picasso

A simple device, known to all of us, used creatively to produce an original image. Like your use of the blue tones. The Picasso allusion in the title is very appropriate - except for the implication that it might harken back to his Blue Period . It's more representative for his last 30 years or so. Just toss this out, titles never enter into my scores. 8
