Brilliant. I particularly enjoy the interplay of the ripples on the water. The bird (flamingo?) seems a tad oversaturated to me, but just a tad.

I like the intent of showing a few birds dwarfed be a large empty space, but the birds aren't well defined relative to the grass so I'm not sure of what I'm looking at withot refering to the title.

Good thought, but it would have been a stronger picture for me if the sarge apple were more distinct from the "recruits" either colorwise or something to visually imply difference of rank.

Good idea, but the bookselves in the background are distracting. Would love to see it in front of a plain dark background to better get the sense of motion.
