Dragon's Spineby peeteComment: Wonderful!!!
You should place very high in this challenge, perhaps in the top 3.
The only critique I have is that you could have caught the lower reflected part of the flame, you cut it off.
Very good none the less

Flying Tackleby arnitComment: Very good composition. The lighting is very good, so is the DOF and you used the right shutter speed to freeze the action. You should do well with this one. |

Girls footballby TedvandenBerghComment: This would have been a nice photo if you used a faster shutter speed and a flash and then bring in your photo to Photoshop and adjust levels and brightness/contrast to improve the dark image. Remember that you can recover much of the detail in your images that are underexposed and not clipped in your histogram. But this is a night shot and I know they are tough to do.
Try downloading the demo version of Neat Image, it will drastically improve the noise that you have in your photo. It’s improved my photos tremendously.
Good Luck

1by GolferDDSComment: OK..... so just what do you expect to get with this photo? Yes it is a beautiful shot of a sunset, and in challenge where this is the theme you may have gotten a high mark and done quite well. However, explain to me how this fits in with "Team Sport Action"???
for Challenge: Sunsets 7
for Challenge: Team Sport Action 1

Exposedby atsxusComment: The over abundance of grain has ruined what could have been a fine photograph. It appears that you have a Canon DSLR, which shouldn’t allow for such grain even at high ISO. Try taking the shot again and adjust some of the settings (ie ISO 200, 1/10 shutter speed, tripod to stabilize camera, etc) Also try using a flash, it will black out the entire mirror except for the reflection.
Good luck in your next challenge
