Broken CD Surfaceby WinterbergComment by e301: It's like a cage to me. One of the better approaches to a very common subject here, as much because your saturation of colour is so effective. Good sense of detail. |

Broken CD Surfaceby WinterbergComment by graphicfunk: Returning for comments:
A great shattered specimen and a great image that introduces the abstract principle in color and form. Bumping up. |

The Iron Lady of Parisby WinterbergComment by e301: Made me smile. I like the warm/cold light approach, though here, with this particular angle, I wonder that it doesn't serve to over-accentuate the rigidty of that choice. It has a sense of lacking detail that isn't solely down to the casting of the little model, either - it may be camera, or it may be processing, or it may be a non-tripod shot, or non-sharpening, but it hasn't got that clarity of fine detail, that immediacy. |

Let's get it on ...by WinterbergComment by KDO: Since I am unsure about the title, let's move right along to your image. Stunning in its simplicity and composition. I like the partial reflection and soft focus on the background image. You know how to showcase and draw attention to a focal point. Nice job...8 |

Technology from the last Millennium!by WinterbergComment by MrAkamai: Very good job with the spotlight and floating casette tape. Although I feel it has a bit too much negative space along the top, I can see this placing very high perhaps a top three finish. Good luck! 9 |

Technology from the last Millennium!by WinterbergComment by gruvin: Cool photo. How did you do make it "float" like that?
[edit]
OK. There's a hot debate running in the forums about what exactly is "electronic".
I have decided to subtract only one point for items I believe to be electronic, rahter than the hard-line "1" I originally issued for such items. This is far more fair and reasonable. |

Sun and Cloudsby WinterbergComment by xtabintun: The only thing I see a problem with is that in your blacks (the clouds) there isn't any detail. Also, there's almost too much negative space for my taste, as well as what appears to be specs of dust. It's a good image, I love the way the rays protrude from the cloud. |

Guess what ...by WinterbergComment by TristanG: Toothpicks! I think... ;) Nice lighting, seems like theres a little pink in there which is nice. The edge of the 'bundle' in a bit over-exposed, especially near the top. |
