I like the reflection and feeling of stillness, but I feel that the trees on the left are a little too dark.

Very nice...Almost a painted quality. I like the depth of the lake as it pulls my eye away from the dark corner towards the sky. Great reflections. Good luck on this lovely submission...

Beautiful scene and great detail in everything but the sky. The highlights have blown out too much detail in the sky.

Nice setting. I would have liked to have seen more contrast in the sky

Hi there. This definately meets the challenge in my opinion. parallel lines going off into the distance definately says vanishing point to me. I like the colors. The greens are nice and strong, and I like how the red of the brick pillar stands out among the greens.
The telephone pole thingy (as you have heard) is a distraction. Stands out in the crowd, and doesn't seem to really 'belong' in the photo.
Your focus and clarity on the fence is good.
Lighting seems to be alright, no distracting shadows. My only complaint there would be that the whitness of the lion thing is a bit too white, and therefor washes out some of the detail.
I like the angle and framing you chose to do this at. I like how it draws your eyes from left to right across the photo. I also like that the fence is in the lower half of the photo, not dead center of the photo.
As I look even closer, there is a bright red triangle in the lower right hand corner of the photo. It's really bright and stands out a lot after I notice it. Is that something on the ground, or is this something you camera put there? Seems really weird.
Anyway, I think it's a nice shot, the subject doesn't make me jump out of my seat with excitement, but technically pretty well done.

I like the saturation of the colors. Would like to have seen it taken from a different angle or maybe just a part of the sigh would have been nice.

This is a weird optical illusion for me. I actually like the thumbnail better than the larger version. I don't like the border at all - and wonder why it's uneven and has the dark spec on the right side. Nice colors work well with the b/g.
