I love these Herens. I'll never tire of seeing them in nature and in photos here. Great photo and choice for the theme. Among my favorites. There are some processing artifacts that bother me some: The farther wing looks like a bit too much noise reduction was applied; There are some sharpening artifacts on the bird's neck; and it looks like there are some jpg jaggies. These diminish the photo slightly from my perspective ... but it's still a great capture. High degree of difficulty. Well executed, considering.

Nice capture! Maybe a little over sharpened, but I guess lighting could have lost the detail under the wing. I have been hunting the perfect capture from a heron, and this is better than anything I have done. Good work!
