Painted Fleshby sacredspiritComment by BAMartin: Powerful photograph. You may have other commenters tell you that cutting off his face and elbow are breaking the rules, but I feel that it works to strengthen this particular image. |

Painted Fleshby sacredspiritComment by JJWoolls: Maybe too much light on the face. Washes out his features. Overall not bad though.
I am not a good photographer, I do not claim to be better than anyone, any criticism is meant to be constructive criticism...... |

Painted Fleshby sacredspiritComment by smardaz: this has been a frustrating challenge...the majority of entries have no connection to a "why" that i can see, this one is no different...i just dont get it |

(Success) One Brick at a Timeby sacredspiritComment by JerseyGenie: Jason, sorry I came into the "choose the photo above you" just after you did. I didn't want to skip you, and didn't want to inadvertantly get me a second viewing. So I went ahead and checked out your site.
I really like this shot. I love how the rough texture of the stones frame the velvety texture of the rose. I'm not too good at PP so I won't try to give thoughts on that. I do know what I like and why I like the shot ... so that's where I have decided to concentrtate my comments. The layout and cropping are extraordinary here. |
