See now I'm a sucker for horses, you hit my weak spot. More than that though the technique is exquisite. The bokeh in the front, and colors are awesome, I'd love to have been there. Beautiful-9.

Well you did a good one here thats for sure. Your model has a huge impression on my eye. His posture, his glare, glasses, and exposure are very exquisite. Rather you did that, or the model, my compliments abound. The lighting is fabulous, great job. One of my top choices for the challenge.

Simply gratifying to the eyes. The blur in the middle of the screen may distract from the overall image, namely because of the blur at the edges of the ice. However it doesn't take away enough for me not say, one of my top choices in the challenge, and a great image to frame. good luck

My critique capabilities fall short, so I can just give my compliments. I certainly love the composition, and the choice to take the color out. It makes the shot much more demanding to look at, and greater historic relevence to ponder. If there is one thing I can say about it in critique, which by the way is desperate in grasping at something, it would be that it isn't as engaging as perhaps it could be. Not a story that I can ponder in its wake. If there was a farm truck, or wedding, or somebody just simply on the stairs I could build a story that fits into my psyche. But like I said I'm not sure that would make the shot better or worse, beings I'm amateur, and looking at this shot it is way above my pay grade so to say. LOL, great shot, one of my top choices.

So for me here is the blunt of my critique. Prepare...LOL. How the hell are we supposed to compete with this. LOL. Great image, and one I can seriously not find anything to critique. The image is beautiful, and the light is magical. I would of loved to have been there, I hope you took time to absorb the moment, and appreciate gods good grace. Good luck. One of my top choices.

Its an amazing shot, probably don't need to say that, but what I really love about this shot, and what takes it over the top of my other choices in the challenge, is how strait "out of the camera" it looks. Does not inherit a post processing feel to it, and the colors, and overall composition make it very demanding to look at. Its one of my top choices, if not, my number one. Thank you for submitting, and good luck.

Well damn, can't critique that which is done in perfection. LOL. I want to, I want to really bad, but the only thing I can see worth even mentioning is the newer amtrak type train in the background, and I wouldn't of noticed that had I not been hell bent on finding something wrong with the photo. Great colors, great composition, great post process technique, very demanding shot, by that I mean it really pops out, and draws your attention. Great job, one of my top choices in the challenge.

great job, I love the colors, and candid nature of the shot, it seems very natural, and gives a great warm theme. There is a little bit of a graduating of colors issue on my screen from the sun on the sky, I would imagine its from having the water, and rocks in such clear, crisp focus. At any rate the shot comes to me as one of the best in the challenge, of course, I'm sort of a mush when it comes to love stories. LOL.

You make it really hard to critique when the shot is mere perfection. LOL. One of my top choices in the challenges, great, great job.
