These kind of shots really come to life in high-contrast black & white - may want to try it and see what happens - I think you may be surprised.
Here is a similar shot I did in a quadtone as an example:

hmmm, you mean 'hood'? (j/k) Actually kind of cool. With the sky reflection, they look kind of like somekind of alien spaceship fleet or something. Very 'abstracty', neat. I wonder what kind of post you did to this? I'm thinking perhaps adding some boost to the colors, maybe a little levels could add some 'pop'?
