Great job! I can feel the powdery sand between my toes! I liked the perspective in this shot, it's as though the camera was strapped to a foot walking this path. I loved the feel of the previous person's footsteps cut out in the sand, the shadows of the blades of the grass. The colors all throughout this photo are nicely done. I am giving this a 7 because it perfectly meets the challenge. So many people in this challenge have not effectively met the theme, as in my opinion, water and shoreline does not always equal 'beach'. Yours is true to the theme, is interesting, and deserves technical merit. Way to go!

A little bump in contrast and color saturation might help this glimpse over the dune. I like the composition but the colors are faded looking.
