Guardian in the Sunby chuckComment by dragonlady: This is an excellent photo..the sun on the two of them gives it a golden soft tone..the dog's expression is very noble; and the colors of the cat's coat go well in this picture. I like the intensity of the shadows..9 |

Mechanics of Flightby chuckComment by rscorp: Returning to comment. Beautifully crisp and very detailed. I love how the green and blue colors interact. I also like this angle because typically it's a close up of the eyes. This gives a whole other perspective and shows some very intricate details of the dragonfly's back. Cool shot! |

Mechanics of Flightby chuckComment by Artifacts: Color is incredible. Technicaly quality is top notch. The back of the head fascinates me to the max. All these things are the making of a great photograph. |

Implied Sacrificeby chuckComment by Sailingduck: Maybe a little overexposed, poor leaf details. But, overall the subject is perfect for the challenge. I gave you an 8 |

Phyllomedusa tomopternaby chuckComment by dr rick: Great composition. Everything in the image leads the viewer's eye to the frog's face: the lines of the frog itself, the shallow DOF, and the leaf on the right that acts as a frame. |
