Nice idea, but overexposed. I wonder how it would have come out if you used a flash to illuminate your subject, thus allowing a shorter shutter speed so the background didn't get washed out.

Nice picture. My only complaint is the washing out below the lights due to, I'm assuming, a long exposure. Perhaps a graduated neutral density filter could have reduced this. 7

Nice picture. Perhaps you could try a polarization filter to reduce glare?

Nice picture, but I'm not sure I get this as a newspaper headline.

It's a nice shot, but the drama of the picture doesn't, to me, live up to the drama of the title.

Nice picture. Perhaps you could have moved the bridge down to about the 2/3 mark in the picture (rule of 3rds).

This states my opinion of the shot exactly. I struggled with the window. I tried a night shot, but the color was not captivating. I tried a ND filter, but it's the Cokin system and didn't look too great on the camera. And unfortunately, I don't have drapes. So finally, I just gave up and tried to fix it with PS, which isn't easy under basic editing rules.:) Thanks for your comment. Any further suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the comment. I tried using a filter, but I have the Cokin system, which, unfortunately, doesn't look very sexy on the front of the camera. ;) How else could I have reduced the glare?

Thanks, and I agree. Any suggestions on how I could have gotten rid of it without advanced editing?
