Very clever! A few suggestions. A slightly better placement of the chair, in order to eliminate the clutter around the child's head and back would have been helpful to the composition, and a slight adjustment to the angle of your camera would have straightened out the position better. I would also liked to have seen a POV giving us a better look at the child's face, but that's really just personal preference.
The shadows from the lite-brite give and excellent feel to the shot, and the chair is a nice balance to the child. Great idea :)

Love the B&W - the pattern of the dots on the walls is great. Would like it better without the frame on the left side.
