Rain in the desertby PattyOFurnitureComment by mci: i don't get it. i don't see any rain or shadows, and there's usually not any big green trees in the desert. but i'm not going to judge your photo on a bad title, so i digress. the white circular thing at the bottom is distracting, and i really fail to see how this fits the challenge. |

Rain in the desertby PattyOFurnitureComment by karmat: Shadows are a part of this picture, yes. Getting closer and doing something close-up/abstract may have made them more prominent. I don't know for sure. Would it have been possible to crop the chair (?) out of the bottom? |

Rain in the desertby PattyOFurnitureComment by Froober: I can't figure out how this relates to the challenge. I only see 1.5 unremarkable shadows/shaded areas on the underside of the limbs. In general, more focus, a little lighter and crop out whatever's sticking up from the bottom and you'd have a photo that would please me...but who's out there trying to please me anyway? : ) |
