Beautiful... the colors on the leaves are great, and the texture and detail on the tree trunks bring some real depth. Nice and sharp all the way out to the horizon, and the backlighting really works.

Tasty! This shot is simple, but technically well done. The lighting and focus are good, though a slightly deeper DOF would have kept the left side of the dessert in focus... but that'd be the only change I'd make on it.

Judging from the subject, I'd assume that this was taken in low light, and the noise is from the low light level. Very difficult shot to get right, since his face is in shadow, but his hand is brightly lit. This exposure is a good compromise between his hand getting totally washed out, and his face fading entirely into the shadows.

Rare moment! Impressive illumination, great reflection, and the color above the clouds is impressive. The composition is somewhat cluttered, though, so it's hard to tell what's going on.

Night Torch

Tough one to capture. The bright colors of the balloon and the torch, along with the deep blue of twilight, and the dark sky above... the exposure captures all of them. Composition is balanced, and makes you wonder just how many are out there... it feels very organic.
