Tough one to capture. The bright colors of the balloon and the torch, along with the deep blue of twilight, and the dark sky above... the exposure captures all of them. Composition is balanced, and makes you wonder just how many are out there... it feels very organic.

Great wildlife candid. The short DOF removes a lot of the ripples and other surface detail of the water, which brings more focus onto the animal, but makes it seem a bit unnatural for such a natural image. The colors are wonderfully vivid.

Breaking Through

Tough exposure, well captured. The colors seem a little strange, mainly the difference in blue hues between the clouds and water, but the textures of the grasses, rocks, and waves are great.

Incredible colors in this photo, and the composition is great. The distant horizon, reaching tower, and grass texture add so much to this image. Looks like a postcard.

Nice colors, attractive model. The highlights in her hair are somewhat distracting, and the image looks too smooth (perhaps a byproduct of NeatImage?) ... all of the detail on her irises is gone, which, for a photo so focused on her eyes, makes it lose some appeal.

Nice cloud and sunset shot... the texture on the clouds is great. It appears that you wanted to capture the symmetry of the reflection here... either moving the horizon up to the center to enforce the symmetry, or down a bit to get rid of the darker area at the bottom (and bring it down onto a thirds line) might give it a bit more visual appeal.

Attractive subject, great lighting and focus for a potrait. The model's skin looks a bit spotty, so perhaps extending the soft focus to include more of her face, tweaking the lighting a bit, or perhaps finding an appropriate filter while taking the photo would serve to smooth her skin even more.

Good choice of subject, lighting is appropriate, exposure is well done. The soft focus effect doesn't add much here, though. With the symmetry of the trio, a more centered composition would have put more emphasis on the subjects.
