Melancholy and Infinite Sadnessby ColeyComment: Nice portrait....
This is nicely exposed, and the skin tone are great.
I find the fingers a little distracting, as they are lighter than the arm and face. Also the dirtry nails are a little annoying, as you've gone to so much trouble with the face makeup. How did this look withou the hand showing, just the head resting on her shoulder? It might not have workedso well.
Well done... 8

subservience of religionby eirasiComment: Not a fan of the blurred border, but I really like this image...
In the use of your editing, and the original lighting conditions you've given the statue a downtrodden feel that works really well with your title.
I hope people vote for this image based on the image, and not on the religeous issues. 8 |

F r a g i l eby librodoComment: Back to comment... I really like this shot. And an intersting title you've chosen as well.
The composition is great, and the negative space really lifts the image when you consider your title.
The only distraction I find is the complex strap/clothing on her shoulder. The rest of the image is so gentle, quite almost, and that item is very fiddly and detailed.
Well taken.. 9 |

meditativeby rhipsterComment: This by itself is a nice photo, but I personally think you've got a little over the top with the dodge&burn...
Possibly some curves work, and using a flash to fill in the shadows in front of the boy would have worked better? |

Exhaustedby EvaanComment: Cool.
I like it when I look a photo of an every day object and have that moment of 'What they heck?' before I realise what I'm looking at.
Great colour, and focus/exposure. A creative take on the challenge as well. 7 |

A Pleasing Shotby Zap228Comment: How can you say chimping? Be interestint to see how many people requested DQ on this... I assume it's zoom blur?
The blown-out white jacket/top and sky dectract from an otherwise interesting idea.. |

Restful Reposeby riversongComment: The point of focus appears to be on her knees, which is slightly distracting, but a nice shot.. Was this posed? I'd be interested to know.. 7 |
