My legs have been giving me a lot of trouble for some time so I usually only go out with one lens. I don't know why I decided that the ultrawide zoom was better for this challenge.

Thanks Steve. Both the grain and the noise were the camera's fault. I was using my Canon M6 II for the first time in ages and forgot that the setting I was using only saves a (black and white) JPG and chooses the aperture for me. Similar settings on the Oly still save an editable RAW.

I wish I'd had my Olympus and the fisheye with me.

Detailed feedback, per your request:

The first thing that struck me was the unpleasant graininess. This may be the result of the incorrect settings you mentioned when you posted it on FB.
The car on the far right pulls my attention away from the main subject without adding anything relevant to the scene.
Midday sun created harsh shadows, which usually doesn't help. But we often don't have control over when and how we find out real world subjects.

Composition: I don't think this is taking much advantage of your wide lens (I just noticed this was taken with an 11mm lens, and not the fisheye you often use). I might have tried getting lower and closer to get a more dramatic view of a static subject. The fairing on this bike would probably look pretty cool closeup with the fisheye. That would also have an advantage of blurring the background. On the same thought, F8.0 is providing a deep depth of field, so a low F stop and getting closer would blur background distractions.
