The lighting here is very poor. A different time of day, or even a different angle might help. The white border does not work to stop the eye, when the border bleeds into the clouds. A 3.

Could stand a little more punch. If you have photoshop ps, the shadow highlights command will bring out the variations in the grass and roof tiles. Even auto levels will help. Otherwise, using whatever tools you have, adjusting the levels and gamma will help. It is a very lovely building. An 8.

Excellent tonal values and totally conveys pleasure. A little reflected light on the left side fo the face to soften shadows would make this a 10.

Really great tonal qualities. It appears to me as if this picture was rotated ninety degrees to the right becaue o the leaves. I like the placement of the left hand.
