Nice use of DOF to isolate your subject from the background, prehaps just a bit more in order for all the flowers to be in focus would have been nice. Nice colours!

OK, I think the major problem I have with this photo is that the focal point is obscured by the reflections of the flash and several surrounding objects. If it were a clear sphere, the reflections might prove interesting, but since there's a compass in there, you have 2 major elements (reflections and compass) competeing for attention.
