The overall layout of this shot is cool, I like close-ups like this although there seems to be a fair amount of noise on the whole pic. Was it a low-light shot?

The lighting lacks drama for this set-up. There is an overall flat quality to the image. To imrove this, have your model stand a bit further away and use a supplemental light aimed at the background. Move it around untill you get a pleasing shadow on the background. This separates the subject from the background. There is a bit to much blue cast.

As a set-up it works pretty well. The top of the banana is a bit out of focus, or perhaps there just isn't enough contrast between the background and the edge of the banana.

Have to really squint to tell that it's AIM - might work better if the screen were turned a bit more towards the camera so that it was a bit more obvious. Nice lighting, or lack thereof.

Wish there were a good way to get rid of noise in cases like these, because, in my book, the noise level is about the only thing keeping this from being a 10. Gotta go with a 7, though.

Nice shot. I like the low light effect. The down side to shots like this is its hard to control noise. You could use something like neat image but I don't think its nessisary, I actually like some noise in photos. Good job...

Image is awfully splotchy on my monitor. If you could have eliminated the background, literally take her hands and the keyboard out of the picture and have only her face and monitor illuminated it would have more impact. Alternative is a little fill flash stopped down with a diffuser.
