Great colors and bokeh. I was wondering what it would look like if you could have pulled the front of the plate in focus and leave everything else the same? Did you decorate the glass or is that a standard Christmas glass? Whoever did the deco on it they did a great job!

You seem to always get great colors. Not much more I can say about this one, makes me want to jump in the car and drive the route. That's what a photograph should make you want to do!

Yes, I like it. It must be a small spider since the separation of the reflection is so distant, very different. I like the small angle of offset keeping of from a vertical shot. (I would have spot edited the spiders coke on the mirror j/k :-)

Good composition, it makes me wonder how many cars the train is pulling with 4+ engines. The color cast from the sunset sets it apart from your typical train pic.

Like the focus on the eyes. DOF is good. Difficult subject for lighting with the dark green background but I think you nailed it. I wish my cat would let me get that close.

And you even went back to the camera to make sure it was going to be framed properly. :-) Little did you know..........

The white shirt is blown out a little bit and the crop is a little close to Jim's feet. Focus is 'dead' on. Nice sky. Good Shot

Had a blast today! And it is a self-portrait, see the iPac in his hand that he uses as a remote.

I agree with the lighting, looks great. Did you paint the catch light in your left eye? If you want to keep the texture out of your background move further away and let the camera's DOF blur it out for you. (that's only if you don't want the texture)

Great pic!

Having a minor Indian heritage I think this is awesome. Almost gives it a 'tintype' feel. Impressed with the homemade dress. A woman in Oklahoma recently got hers into the Smithsonian, she made it and used it in many Indian ceremonial dance displays.

Good work!

The pic is great, the DOF is pretty much dead on for this shot, for the challenge though I think a little softer would have worked better. The cactus itself doesn't have that softness to it. This may be attributed to the excellent contrasting colors that don't allow the softness to come through. I gave it a 5, but did not think it had enough "softness" to it. I don't think the lower right detracts from the shot.
