no need for rosesby StagoleeComment: This is the most interesting, thoughtful and creative shot in the top 10, I think. It's a pity you didn't ribbon. Irrespective of this, however, congratulations on the actual shot. It is quite lovely |

Hushby xianartComment: This is far lower than it should be. It's a pity I didn't vote, I would have given you an 8+. I would perhaps have preferred to see more of the foreground in focus. I love the tones, as well.

I dream of waterby wisieComment: I dream of energy drinks. A classic and well executed 'waterfall shot' that is certainly 'dreamy'

Sleeping in Colourby e301Comment: This is a good exercise in colour and I feel the layering of said colours invoke some sort of dreamlike quality.
It's a pity about the compartmentalization of the window, it's sure to detract from what would otherwise be a very compelling and powerful shot (that is, if it wasn't immediately obvious that one was looking at the reflection in a sliding glass door).
Perhaps a little crazy on the saturation, too? A more interesting perspective would have been more pleasing too.

Sailing in a World of my Ownby BrianRComment: Dramatic colours and nice composition. Certainly communicates a dreamlike feeling so you've fit the challenge well. I don't like how the sail extends above the line of the land although that is completely unavoidable and a minor, personal aesthetic gripe.
Maybe a little too heavy handed on the saturation? A happy medium between the desire to satisfy the conjuration of dreamlike quality (through colour) versus some aversion to the strange pixellation (or artifacting, I'm not sure on what to call it exactly) caused by said oversaturation would have been preferable for my tastes.

The Me I Can No Longer Reachby noranekoComment: A nice idea with strong colours, although the way the door/slats are structured ends up taking away more from the shot than it ultimately gives. Your composition is a touch too centred and the gap in the doorway on the left is slightly distracting.
6 from me - good luck |
