Phobic?by indigo997Comment: A friend of mine used to have one of these for a pet. It was as dumb as he was. Very good capture. |

No reprieve.by millerComment: Very interesting treatment of this fear. It might have been a little more effective if the color of the skin on the lower lid was more normal. As it is it's a good almost abstract design, but it doesn't tell your story with enough power. |

Lycosidae sp.by UberFishComment: I know it's hard to do, but it would have beeen nice if you were to have more DOF. Nice picture though. Shey. |

www.missingkids.com/by myqylComment: This might be the photo that was commented on in the forums. If so, I don't see you making light of the situation at all. As a matter of fact, you did one of the best jobs of telling a story, not just taking a picture of a spider. Shey. |

Inner Focusby myqylComment: Watch your light sources and your focus. The stones would be a lot more effective with ultra sharp focus and DOF, and you would have had better lighting if you had used a softer source. Maybe bouncing the flash off the ceiling, or shielding the stones with a thin layer of white cloth or translucent plastic. It would have eliminated the hot spots that are a bit distracting, and if the light wern't too soft you still would have had the definition. I like the design very much, and there is a lot that is interesting in your photo. Paul. |
