Yard Sale Item # 13by leviadidasComment: You did a good job showing the textures, and your exposure is right on, but I think you tried to hand hold your camera at too low a shutter speed and there's some blur. Also, you would get more resolution quality if you used the who 150k file size we're allowed. |

hongo 6by humComment: A very interesting picture, but one that could be improved by not blowing out the highlights on the mushroom. |

Treeby malapropamComment: You have some beautiful texture here. I think your camera's meter averaged the light in the picture and caused the light areas to be over exposed though. If you have a manual mode, you might try to vary the exposure stop by stop and view the results in the LCD before you shoot. Then you could expose for the real nice lighter textures and let the dark area on the left go. If your camera won't let you do that, you might shift the camera to include more of the light, half press the shutter release to set the exposure and focus, then reaim without letting up on the half-press and take your picture. |

Prickly Sunsetby Gene L.Comment: Dramatic photo. I know it would have been hard, but it would have been nice if the back cactus were sharp also. |

Katydidby skylineComment: I like your macro shot very much. The only thing I might comment on is it would have been nice if the background was more out of focus to highlight your subject. |

Entanglementby amonteforteComment: Very good picture. I like your idea and the way you carried it out. One idea I had would be to position the brown braid against the black background and the black braid in front of the brown, but I like your way of doing it also. |
