Very nice picture, I like the composition. The left upper area with very nice tone, lower right corner - the leaf is kind of distracting. It would be nice entry for "Selective Desaturation" challenge.

Ha! One of my ideas was mice for this challenge. I even spent an hour or so setting up and photographing my collection of Microsoft Intellimouses, but eventually went with something else.

This is a great image. The silver and black theme makes it feel very professional, businesslike. The brightest area is kept away from the borders, nice leading lines. Sharp focus and interesting textures on the mouse. This is one of the best in the challenge.
