Your set up would have appeared more realistic if there had been some printing or writing on the pieces of paper. The darkness in the bottom corners of the picture seems visually annoying for some reason. It is a good idea for the challenge.

The Lurker

Cool rats. I worked at a cannery one summer while in college and there were many rats on the loading dock. They were a lot meaner than these ones appear to be. Are these tame or feral rats - the one with it's face showing actually looks kind of friendly!

This is a good photo for Garbage; however, I think it has a bit too much grain. Some grain would have set the mood of the picture but there is so much grain it kind of overwhelms the picture. A bit more contrast would have made it really stand out, too.

Ghostly Moth

This is sure a furry moth - I'm glad it wasn't in our house, I hate moths. Looking at your picture gave me such a good idea for light on white, Van - I wish I would have thought of it for the challenge! My white (cream color, actually) didn't do that well, your furry moth has made me think of a really cool idea with a white mouse - wish I would have thought of it before.
