The lighting on this is just outstanding. I love profile portraits too. Great DOF! This is perfect in every way. You'll get no critique from me.

The focal point of this photo seems to be the eye, hence the out of focous fur, I do believe that this is a magnificant photo. Especially in photos of animals, this is a hard shot, givin that, ide say full house - 10 on my scale.

If you are going to take a picture of your self in the mirror as all of us photographers do at some point in time. make sure to mirror the image back or you will see that the words are backwards

great image but it has some problems with color cast. . if you look closely the fur is tinted green most likely this is due to what is called contamination lighting from a background that is too hot. you can fix this in camera by makeing sure your subject is surounded by neutral tone or opposing tone refelctors in this case because of the strong green a magenta relector could have helped. else its not a hard fix in photoshop
just go to color balance and move cyan to red and blue to yellow just a tad not too much then your primary adjustment should be from green to magents and work from midtones to shadows then touch up with highlights just lightly
here is a copy of your image that i adjusted for you all copywrites are to their repected owners

He's a beauty and the lighting and muted colors really bring out the blue of his eyes.
