Entrancingby arpitaComment: There is no question thst the eyes are stunning. The image is very aptly titled. Beyond the eyes, the tonal range is very nice, but I don't care for the slight yellow/green hue in the browns. Also the crop is a touch awkward for my taste, particularly the way the lip is clipped. But, it is worth repeating: the eyes are GORGEOUS. |

Innocenceby janrussComment: What eyes! Great catchlights. The DOF really brings you into his eyes. I would have preferred no bib but these kind of captures aren't always planned for. This would also make a nice BW. |

Red Pumpsby dacrazyrnComment: I'm not really caring for the selective desat here. The cold tone makes her skin deadish to me. I think the pose is good. I'm not sure about the backdrop at the bottom with the rippled black and gray - what is that? |

A great expectation (8th of January 2006)by TOYComment: Beautiful image, very well lit. The BW conversion is very nice as well. Tiny nit-pick: I can see the impression from her waistband on her skin. Changing into a robe or wearing pants with the low waistband an hour or so before shooting can prevent that. Still, very nicely composed.
ETA - CONGRATULATIONS! |

Skating in the Snowby rlinn3Comment: Sweet capture. I like that you didn't "correct" the holes in her stockings. They tell part of the story. I would like to see more negative space above her ideally, but I realize that might not have made for a good photos depending on the surroundings. |

Daddy, can I feed the birds?by gseidenComment: I was enjoying the beautiful idyllic peacefulness of this scene. UntilI got to the little boys jacket and the white stripes (what is that?) are so harsh that it yanked me right out of my reverie. I think I would have cropped him out. |

An Icelandic Landformby bergwaltersComment: Beautiful image, and very nicely processed. My only nitpick is that there seems to be some funky cloning issue above the mountain. Still, very nicely done. |

Vintage Dollby CalliopeKelComment: Great expression! I like the crop as well. The conversion is a little contrasty for my taste, but it works. I like the added grain too. I think the eyes look unnaturally dodged. The butterfly in the hat draws my eye a bit away from her face, so I might have cropped down a bit further, but that's just a nitpick. |

Walking the edgeby tazzaComment: Neat! It looks like the lake is frozen over (but not turned white like they do) and they're walking on the water. |
