Comment:
This shot really imbues the fluidity of the sand, and super crisp capture of the turmoil of the subject finds themselves in.

You did something most other photographers were unable to for this challenge: you captured an abstract image with little (or no?) post processing. This photo is interesting to the eye, colorful (the warm pink-grays in the center are just great), and abstract. Fantastic picture.

This picture was easily one of my favorites in the challenge. Your ability to capture such fantastic color ranges without being washed out by the snow gave great balance to the image. Really nice work.

Fantastic title given the events of the week. And just enough of the background remains to keep it interesting.

When I look at this picture, I can almost hear the thunk of porcelain bowls on wood and the muted tinks of bamboo on ever emptying bowls. Nice composition, nice low lighting. This image leaves the table open for the viewers' imaginations to fill in the rest.

I appreciate the monochromatic theme and the mystery of the original subject. But the digital artifacts / pixelation distract me just a bit and cause me to think the picture is still loading.

A story within the story. This added an emotional depth to your submission. Poor John.
