Hello from the critique club

An appealing image that contributes well to the free study challenge

It's always essential to try and look for a different view in trying to create an original image and here you have done just that so well done. I don't know if the original scene was as vivid as this but it feels somewhat saturated, I would prefer some desat for a more natural looking result to bring out some of those lovely colours and textures in the rocks.

Wide angle lenses such as you have here are great for creativity, I look forward to seeing more from you soon. Thank you for your entry Michael

Obviously, I'm humbled by the constructive comments and now know a few things for the next challenge:
1. Don't rush the submission
2. Work on resolution issues
3. Clean the sensor!
4. Post processing needs a ton of work...
Thanks for the feedback...

Rather pixilated and some sensor dust but other than that it would have made a neat photo.

What did you do with the processing? Or did you crop it too much? Really a pity, could have been a great image. And what about those spots at the top, is it dust on the sensor? You can remove them under the Advanced ruleset, you know.

The processing on this really throws me off. It almost hurts my eyes.

The scene is lovely and you've composed it well.

Thanks for the comments... I originally was going for a multiple exposure looking for a potential HDR, but decided to keep this single exposure. I increased the exposure from -2 to "0" and this is what I got w a little cloning on the tree trunk chromatic aberration. It was a fun shoot. Thanks for the votes and inspiration to compete in the future.
