Love the letterbox format, the motion blur, the great light, contrast between the blue of the sky and the greenish yellow of the lights and people's clothing.
Great use of the "wrong" white balance setting!
gets a 9 from me, actually, I'll even give you a ten. | Photographer found comment helpful. |
| 08/21/2005 04:46:32 AM | Army of Freshmenby EvanHComment: a little too dark for my taste (going for the gothic, dark thing here, were you?) but a very cool perspective and good use of the motion blur on the bassist's right hand. the red glove/mit adds to the attention that detail gets from me. Well done.

| 08/21/2005 04:44:55 AM | High Noteby BigMoComment: I don't care for the yellow/greenish background. otherwise well done, good composition, funny twist with the pressed down strings that break up the otherwise parallel lines that dominate the diagonals.

Reminds me a little of my own pic:

| 08/21/2005 04:40:29 AM | The Buskerby kevrobertsonComment: nice, off center composition, like the diagonal the guitar's neck creates, the guys right arm with all the muscles and veins showing. Wonder how this would look in color.
Very nice! | Photographer found comment helpful. |

Try to focus on getting a well composed, nicely lit, sharp picture that makes good use of perspective and DOF and that is a little more ORIGINAL.
No offense, please, I'm just trying to help.
Cheers,
Bruce
PS: gave you a 6 for on topic, technically sound but not very exciting | Photographer found comment helpful. |

PS: gave you a 4 for uninspired but technically sound |

You can do the same with yourself and your relationships with people. It may not seem easy at first, but communicating calmly and clearly will help you a great deal, even with the ladies. Good luck, brother.
