The mixed-colour lighting is a white balance nightmare. Unless this is a desired effect, B&W might be a solution for this.
Nice tight crop, BTW. Brave on your side not including the lens. It is a bit like a human portrait without including the eyes. It might work.

lovely abstract...the oil drops are a bit soft though, and I would of cropped two inches of the top off; the black splothcy marks add nothing to the this image, already voted.

Interesting shot, although I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking at. The colors are pretty awesome here.

This really took me a long time to post back on this image. My apologies. It's actually a moss that I'd found growing on Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve in Georgia, USA. The aperture control on my tubes had stopped working and I took about 30 images before I realized what was happening. The composition isn't all that great but I liked the soft focus and the colors. I used Niksoftware ColorFX to add glamour glow and soft focus further blending the image and reducing noise. I've since gotten new tubes =)
